Further Information

The curriculum of the Department of Electronics Engineer of Technological Education aims to provide complete training to its students with regard to the entire scope of the modern fields of electronic science, and specifically the branches of general electronics, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, networks, automations, energy technologies, and services.
With the purpose of meeting the above objectives, the curriculum includes 40 courses that cover a wide range of subjects. Depending on their content, the courses are distinguished among courses of General Background, Specialised Background and to Specialisation courses. The curriculum does not include any directions recognized, but the courses covering a specific thematic field can comprise a specialization / direction, all of which shall be attended by the student following his/her choice.
The duration of studies in the department is eight semesters, where the last includes the students' practical training and the preparation of a dissertation. The first seven semesters involve the teaching of the courses, which are organised through theory lectures, practical exercises and laboratory exercises.
