Description

Following the completion of their studies, the graduates, depending on the direction followed, will have the necessary scientific and technological knowledge, competences, and skills: a) For Business Administration, b) for the Administration of Cooperatives and Businesses, as well as for Social Economy Businesses, and c) for the Management of IT Projects, the Design of Strategic Development of IT Systems in Administration and the Economy, with the purpose of being able to find employment in businesses, organisations, and services of the private and public sector.

Further Information

The basic objective of the Department of Business Administration is to communicate knowledge, the methodology for analysing problems, knowhow, and the operational tools considered necessary in the modern field of business and organisation administration. The curriculum covers a wide range of studies in the subject of Business Administration, Organisations, Cooperatives, Social Economy Businesses, as well as with regard to the design and development of Administration IT systems for businesses.

Relation To Employment

The graduates of the Department are able to work as Economist - Accountant - Tax Technician, and as an Educator in the Secondary Education, in field University Education 20 (PE) (concerning the graduates of direction "Management of IT Systems") based on the relevant Greek legislation.

Transitions

Access to this type of qualification have those who have completed at least the secondary education (level 4).
Holders of such qualifications gain access to study programmes at the same level or at level 7 or 8.
