Description

The programme is a five-year integrated curriculum corresponding to 300 ECTS credits and leading to an Integrated Master's Degree. It provides comprehensive education in Forestry, natural resource management, and environmental protection through theoretical instruction, laboratory education, field practice, a diploma thesis, and research-oriented learning. The programme prepares graduates capable of studying, managing, protecting, and sustainably utilizing forest ecosystems, natural resources, and the environment using modern scientific methods and technologies.

Relation to Employment

Graduates obtain the professional qualification of Forester and are qualified to work in forest management and protection, natural resource management, environmental conservation and restoration, forest production, protected area management, forest policy, environmental assessment, research, education, and public or private administration.

Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities

Admission to the program requires a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (High School Diploma) and successful participation in national-level examinations.

• Graduates understand and explain the physical and biological processes that constitute forest ecosystems and assess the impacts of human activities on them.
