Description

The Department focuses on Agricultural Business Management and Supply Chain Management through an interdisciplinary approach encompassing business administration, economics, marketing, agricultural sciences, environmental issues, information and communication technologies, and supply chain management. The qualification certifies the acquisition of scientific knowledge and analytical skills for understanding and addressing complex business and policy issues in the agri-food sector and the related supply systems. Graduates acquire knowledge and skills related to agricultural business management, supply chain management, business strategy and the analysis and resolution of problems in a changing contemporary environment. Completion of the studies corresponds to 300 ECTS credits.

The qualification provides scientific knowledge and skills for agricultural business management, supply chain management, and the organisation of businesses and organisations. Graduates may work in the public and private sectors, including businesses in the primary sector, manufacturing and food businesses, agricultural holdings, cooperatives, producer groups and logistics activities.

Access Requirements / Progression Opportunities

Admission to the program requires a Secondary School Leaving Certificate (High School Diploma) and successful participation in national-level examinations.
