The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Communication and Media Studies provides interdisciplinary education in communication, journalism and media studies. The curriculum combines theoretical instruction, research, laboratory education and practical training in journalism, political communication, advertising, public relations, cultural communication, online communication, digital media, audiovisual production, social research and strategic communication.

The program consists of forty-seven (47) courses, an Undergraduate Dissertation Seminar, a compulsory Undergraduate Dissertation, optional internship opportunities and international mobility through the Erasmus+ and CIVIS programmes. Successful completion of the program corresponds to two hundred and forty (240) ECTS credits.
