Level 6

The Undergraduate Study Program of the Department of Aerospace Science and Technology provides comprehensive education in the fundamental and applied sciences of aerospace, combining theoretical instruction, laboratory education, research activities and a compulsory diploma thesis. The curriculum includes mathematics, physics, programming, electronics, digital systems, satellite systems, remote sensing, satellite communications, navigation, artificial intelligence and space applications.

During the fourth year of studies students select one of the following official study tracks:

Space Upstream – Satellite, Instrument and Space Subsystems Design
Space Downstream – Satellite Remote Sensing, Navigation and Telecommunications Applications

The programme concludes with a compulsory diploma thesis and also offers the opportunity for internship placement in accordance with the Study Regulations.
