The Integrated Master's Programme of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is a five-year full-time study programme. During the first six semesters, students receive education in the fundamental principles of the basic sciences and Mechanical Engineering, including applied mathematics and statistics, physics, chemistry, computer programming, numerical methods, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mechanical design, solid mechanics and dynamics, materials and manufacturing processes, operations research and engineering economics.
At the end of the fifth semester, students choose one of three official study tracks:
K1: Energy, Industrial Processes and Pollution Abatement Technology
K2: Mechanics, Materials and Manufacturing Processes
K3: Production Organisation and Industrial Management
