The Undergraduate Study Programme is a five-year programme (300 ECTS) leading to an Integrated Master's Degree. It provides scientific, research and artistic education in music and musicology and is organized into the following specializations:
Historical and Systematic Musicology
Ethnomusicology and Cultural Anthropology
Music Technology
Byzantine Musicology
Music Pedagogy
The Department also offers a Music Specialization Programme in Western Art Music, Greek Traditional and Folk Music, Popular and Jazz Music with New Technologies, and Byzantine Chant. The curriculum includes theoretical and laboratory courses, an undergraduate dissertation, internship and the opportunity to obtain a Certificate of Pedagogical and Teaching Competence.
