VOCATIONAL SCHOOL (EPAS) CERTIFICATE (PTYCHIO EPAS) - Specialty "Interior design"

Description

The holder of an EPAS certificate of this specialty:
Knowledge:

1. Knows how to design using geometric bodies and software.
2. Recognizes decoration materials.
3. Familiar with the world of Art and Architecture and the impact thereof on the evolution of decoration.
4. Organizes and understands interior designs in different scales.
5. Uses plans of straight and side projections for landscaping.
Skills:
1. Designs perspective plans and scaled plans, and renders with coloured drawings the construction details, areas with complex functions in accordance with established conventions and symbolisms.
2. Draws in a computer architectural drawings and objects, does graphics processing and prints them.
3. Selects materials that are functionally and aesthetically suitable to use for the area under configuration.
4. Manufactures models.
5. Photographs, prints, processes images using a computer.
6. Performs counting and measurement tasks.
7. Applies the rules of health and safety.
Competences:
1. Works in harmony with his colleagues.
2. Listens to the needs of the tenants of the spaces decorated.

Relation To Employment

License to provide services, in accordance with the provisions of each specialty.

Transitions

Access to EPAS is given to graduates of 1st grade of General Upper Secondary School (Lykeio) or Vocational Upper Secondary School (EPAL).
The holders of Ptychio EPAS have access to:
- the 2nd grade of General Upper Secondary School (Lykeio) or
- the 2nd grade of Vocational Upper Secondary School (EPAL), in a non-related specialty to the obtained EPAS qualification.
- the 3rd grade of Vocational Upper Secondary School (EPAL), in a specialty related to the obtained EPAS qualification.
