The graduate of the Department has knowledge of Physics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Electronics, Software Technology, based on which he/she obtains the following:
Skills:
Concerning the repair, maintenance and control of accessories, devices, parts of structural elements, of power systems, and of the electronic systems of flying machines. For the quality control and quality assurance in the industry producing flying machines and services with the use of flying machines.
Competences regarding the design, development, production and management regarding the entire scope of technologies used in flying machines.


Further Information

The curriculum is completed within eight semesters. During the seven first semesters, theoretical teaching is performed (theory and practical exercises), along with the laboratory practice of students. From the fifth semester, students must select compulsory courses from two fields: (a) Structure and Power Field and (b) Field of Electrical and Electronic systems and instruments of aircraft. In order to complete their education, the students of the department are obliged to prepare their dissertation and attend practical training for six months.

Relation To Employment

Holders of qualifications that belong to this type may work either as self-employed or in positions of responsibility in companies and organizations in the private or in the public sector.

Transitions

Access to this type of qualification have those who have completed at least the secondary education (level 4).
Holders of such qualifications gain access to study programmes at the same level or at level 7 or 8.
