Description

Upon completing the curriculum, the learner shall acquire (a) knowledge in order to understand concepts that refer to the economic science and the science of Management, (b) skills in using, with the assistance of new technologies, of qualitative and quantitative data, with the purpose of applying their theoretical knowledge, (c) acquire competences for resolving problems created in the internal and external environment of a business.

Further Information

The purpose of the curriculum is to supply graduates with assets in order to deal with problems of the internal and external environment of a business active both in the field of tourism and in other branches. The curriculum consists of 71 courses in total. Among them: 66 have only a theoretical part, while 5 have both a theoretical and a laboratory part. Among the 66 courses, 29 are common courses in both directions, and from 5 courses with a laboratory part, 5 are common in both directions. Elective courses are offered from the 5th semester and afterwards. All courses are calculated with five credits. Apart from the courses, the completion of the curriculum requires the preparation of a dissertation and practical training.

Relation To Employment

The certificate leads to the license for B' or C' Class Accountant - Tax Technician and it is an asset for those working in Management position or in decision-taking positions in organisations or businesses.

Transitions

Access to this type of qualification have those who have completed at least the secondary education (level 4).
Holders of such qualifications gain access to study programmes at the same level or at level 7 or 8.
