Further Information

The programme for doctoral studies has the following purposes:
- Production of original scientific research that contributes to the progress of agronomist sciences, as well as of sciences contributing to the above, at an international level, while assisting to the resolution of agronomist and agro-nutritional issues, along with financial, administrative, and social issues of the agricultural field.
- Creation of researches who shall excel internationally due to their scientific mastery, their contribution, and their academic ethics. The preparation of doctoral dissertation is focused on the fields of agricultural production, agricultural infrastructures, agricultural environment, agricultural engineering, agricultural economics and development, food and nutrition, biology and biotechnology, and organisations of agricultural interest.

Relation To Employment

The relation to occupation is established by the main degree. The doctorate is a standard qualification for academic career as a member of the scientific faculty.


Access to this type is possible only for those who have obtained at least a level 7 qualification (unless it is provided for otherwise).
Holders of such type qualifications have access to programs of study of the same level.
