KNOWLEDGE:
- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF REPERTOIRE AND MUSIC MATERIAL: Students know the basic repertoire of their core subject and at least some of the most specialized repertoire. Students must know the main elements and organizational structures of music and understand the interactions between them.
- KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE FRAMEWORK: They know about the basic history of music and of the literature related to it. They are aware of the different styles and of the relevant performance traditions.
They understand and are able to make use of the possibilities offered by technology in their field of specialisation.
They have some knowledge of the financial, business, and legal aspects of the musical profession. They are aware of the relations and dependencies between the above and their theoretical and practical studies.
- IMPROVISATION SKILLS: They certain key motifs and procedures related to improvisation.
- PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS: They are familiarized with the basic principles and practices of pedagogics, especially with everything related to musical education.
SKILLS:
- SKILLS IN ARTISTIC EXPRESSION: They are capable of creating and implementing their personal artistic ideas, and they have developed the necessary skills for their expression.
- REPERTOIRE SKILLS: They have studied and, if possible, presented in concerts, a representative repertoire of their main cognitive domain. During this procedure, they must have the experience of executing various suitable styles.
- SKILLS FOR ENSEMBLES: They can perform in musical ensembles, with variety in terms of size and repertoire.
- SKILLS FOR PRACTICING AND TESTING: They have acquired effective practice and testing technique, for improvement through personal study. During this procedure, they must have assimilated good habits of techniques and body posture, which allow them to use their body with the most effective and less harmful way.
- READING COMPETENCIES: They have acquired suitable skills for the dissemination and communication of music structures, materials, and ideas, e.g. competent reading of music text, both with regard to the understanding of music and the easy, first reading.
- ACOUSTIC, CREATIVE AND RECREATION SKILLS: They are competent in recognising by ear, memorizing, and handling music material.
- PHRASAL (VERBAL) SKILLS: They are capable of speaking and/or writing intelligibly about their musical creations.
- COMPETENCES FOR PERFORMING TO AN AUDIENCE: They are capable of dealing with the behavioural and communication requirements of a show.
- IMPROVISATION SKILLS: They are capable of freely articulating their personal music language, starting from their music experiences / skills, using practices of self-observance, music awareness, and ingeniousness, through free improvisation and instant (spontaneous) composition.
- PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS: They can teach the main subject of studies to students of various levels.
GENERAL SKILLS:
- INDEPENDENCE: They are capable of working independently on various subjects: gather, analyse, and interpret information, create ideas and views critically, have incentives and manage problems on their own.
- PSYCHOLOGICAL UNDERSTANDING: They are capable of using effectively in various cases, imagination, intuition, their emotional understanding, the competence of thinking and working creatively when solving a problem, the competence of thinking and acting with a flexible manner, adjusting to new, changing conditions, having the competence of controlling and, when possible, limiting stress and its association with the normal requirements related to the show.
- CRITICAL AWARENESS: They have a developed scientific, social, and moral conscience on issues concerning their work and increased critical competence, which is applied creatively when collaborating with others.
- COMMUNICATION SKILLS: They have acquired effective skills for communication and social interactions, including the skills of working with others in common projects, show skills for group work, organization and negotiation, can integrated with others in a variety of artistic actions, present their work at an accessible form, and have a sufficient knowledge of IT skills.
