Graduates of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the School of Agricultural Technology of Technological Education Institutes have the right to employment either as unit executives or as self-employed in all aspects of landscape management and protection, particularly in the following subjects and activities.
a. Creation, improvement, protection and maintenance of municipal parks, natural parks in cities, groves, peri-urban forests, aesthetic forests, national parks and recreation forests in general.
b. Management, improvement and protection of degraded human and natural landscapes.
c. Production, management, standardization, distribution and marketing of planting material suitable for improving the urban, peri-urban and natural landscape.
d. Planning, organization and operation of seed beds for ornamental plants, game farms, game reserves and freshwater farms and management of aesthetic forests.
e. Any other activity that occurs with the evolution of technology and is demonstrably covered by the subject of their specialty.
Graduates of said Department can develop into all aspects of administrative and technical hierarchy relative to the areas of Landscape Architecture.
Are registered in the Designer records of the Ministry of Environment as green designers.
Are registered in the Manufacturers Experience records of the Ministry of Public Works in the Category of green projects, in accordance with the legislation.
Graduates of said Department can be employed at all levels of education and training in accordance with the legislation. They can also get involved as members of research teams in their field of specialization. Graduates of the Department of Landscape Architecture can practice upon graduation in the context of these professional rights.
Relation To Employment
Graduates of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the School of Agricultural Technology of Technological Education Institutes, based on their specialized scientific and technical knowledge, can work either independently or in collaboration with other scientists, in the study, research and application of technology in modern and specific fields of Landscape Architecture science and in the process to design, improve and protect the natural, suburban and built environment. They are also involved, based on sustainable development, in all other work related to the order in space and time of anthropogenic and natural ecosystems, both in terms of individual elements and in sets, combined with elements of art, harmony and beauty. Graduates of the Department of Landscape Architecture of the School of Agricultural Technology of Technological Education Institutes have the right to employment either as unit executives or as self-employed in all aspects of landscape management and protection and its exploitation.
Transitions
Access to this type of qualification have those who have completed at least the secondary education (level 4).
Holders of such qualifications gain access to study programmes at the same level or at level 7 or 8.
