Knowledge:
1. Describes the basics of chassis equipment.
2. Lists key elements of the items, materials and method of manufacture, durability and fatigue of chassis.
3. Describes, compares and classifies the different types of bodywork.
4. Describes and compares how chassis are checked.
5. Describes and compares the methods of manufacture, repair and maintenance of the chassis.
6. Describes the basics of truck, bus and special vehicles chassis.
7. Describes the types and paint modes and the basic principles of colour (types - admixtures).
8. Describes the methods and materials used to the seal the chassis.
Skills:
1. Controls, inspects, repairs and replaces the chassis equipment and mechanisms (internal cabin linings, seats, door mechanisms - hood - trunk, glass panes).
2. Operates the machines, appliances, instruments, tools and materials concerning the construction, testing, repair and maintenance of the chassis.
3. Uses machines, appliances, instruments, tools and materials for paint preparation of the chassis.
4. Operates equipment needed for the chassis paint shop.
5. Applies the instructions of the relevant technical manuals.
6. Implements health and safety measures.
7. Applies the basic material recycling principles.
