Upon completing their studies, graduates acquire the necessary scientific and technological knowledge, along with skills and competences, with the purpose of professionally engaging with every field of the department's cognitive subjects, either as administrative executives of private and public businesses, or as self-employed. Specifically, the graduates of the Department are active in the following sectors:
- Administrative sector of the entire tourism business, of the body or organisation that applies modern scientific methods and practices to programming, organising, managing, and controlling, with the purpose of guiding, supervising and setting the context of operation of the productive complexes of the above units.
- Productive sector of logistics, where they are engaged with management (ordering, storage, preservation, and distribution) of materials and beverages for catering departments and units.
- Field of production, where they engage with the management of roofs, floors, food and beverages, conference areas, as well as with the departments of sports and customer recreation.
- Management of human resources of tourism businesses.
- Sector of marketing, where they engage with the creation, pricing, promotion (advertising, public relations, and promotion) and with the distribution of products of tourism businesses.
- Application of operational and international electronic systems for gathering, processing, and forwarding data and information related to tourism units.
- Programming, implementation, and control of the state design concerning tourism and the units of the tourism industry.
- Collective design and application of programmes for the development of various forms of tourism, along with the preparation of financial-technical studies for the creation and operation of tourism businesses.
